![]() ![]() In addition to earning gold and experience, and gaining upgrades to combat abilities, a Fable character also develops personally and morally. Player decisions constantly influence the advancement of the character's magic and combat abilities, as well as the development of personality traits and social qualities. Whilst Understone is a fun, nicely crafted addition to the game, it simply doesn't bring enough to the table to make it any more than a mechanism for delivering a couple of additional legendary weapons, in my honest opinion.Fable III is an action-oriented role-playing game of classic swords and sorcery, designed around a deep and encompassing system of character development. If you are undecided between purchasing this pack and traitors keep, I'd suggest you consider Traitors Keep instead as that brings far more to the game. ![]() That said, this pack only provides around an hours additional content for the game and once completed is unlikely to be an area players return to, except in order to purchase property (which can be done from the map screen in any case) The Wheel of Misfortune reuses existing elements from the original quest line (including swathes of original dialogue) and both this and the merc shooting range suffer from the fact that they can easily be cheated in coop mode to inflate a players score and gain access to the top tier "legendary" prizes. The addition of the shooting range and wheel of misfortune also provide access to a couple of additional legendary weapons, which are useful. The additional quest line is amusing and interesting and is accessible to most users almost as soon as they are out of the tutorial area's, providing an interesting diversion and some additional properties to for players to own.
